Since last Wednesday's update, we launched Developer Alerts to make it easier for developers to receive critical information about their apps via email and notifications on Facebook.com and explained how we use polyfills in our Javascript SDK (see also our earlier post explaining how we do error handling in the Javascript SDK).
Today we're introducing Insights for Open Graph publishes, impressions, and referral clicks on mobile devices. This data can be segmented by mobile platform – including iPhone, iPad, Android, and mobile browser. We've refreshed the beta version of the Facebook SDK 3.0 for Android. The latest beta SDK includes a variety of API changes, which are documented in the change log. The new SDK (version v3.0.2.b) is now available to download from Github.
In August, we launched a new API to download payment reports for your company and announced we are no longer sending these reports via email. Now, we're giving you a new tool to download your daily payment reports directly from the developer site, instead of calling the API. This tool supports daily downloads of all transaction data available via the API, including both the detail and digest reports for the prior 45 days. Visit the Company tab in the Settings section of the developer site to start downloading reports and read our documentation for more information on the API and how to interpret the reporting format.
