On-Premises API Changelog

Recommended version: v2.59.2

This changelog covers what has changed in the WhatsApp On-Premises API client and AWS/Azure/GCP Templates.

WhatsApp Business API Client

Per continuare a utilizzare l'API senza interruzioni, gli utenti dell'API On-Premises devono installare nuove versioni del client. Le versioni del client API dichiarate obsolete non sono più supportate. Se un client obsoleto perde la connessione dopo la data di scadenza, non sarà in grado di connettersi al server e non potrà inviare o ricevere messaggi.

The On-Premises client now offers support for MySQL 8. It is possible to migrate any version of the On-Premises client from MySQL 5 to MySQL 8. It's important to keep in mind that once a database has been migrated to MySQL 8, it is not possible to revert it back to MySQL 5. As a precaution, please ensure you create a backup of the database prior to initiating the migration process.

Warning: We are aware of an issue affecting GCP templates and MySQL 8. More information in our template github project.
