On-Premises API Changelog

Recommended version: v2.55.1

This changelog covers what has changed in the WhatsApp On-Premises API client and AWS/Azure/GCP Templates.

WhatsApp Business API Client

Les utilisateurs de l’API On-Premises doivent installer les nouvelles versions du client pour continuer à utiliser l’API sans interruption. Les versions obsolètes du client API ne sont plus prises en charge. En cas de perte de connexion après la date d’expiration, le client obsolète ne pourra plus se connecter au serveur ni envoyer ou recevoir de messages.

The On-Premises client now offers support for MySQL 8. It is possible to migrate any version of the On-Premises client from MySQL 5 to MySQL 8. It's important to keep in mind that once a database has been migrated to MySQL 8, it is not possible to revert it back to MySQL 5. As a precaution, please ensure you create a backup of the database prior to initiating the migration process.

Warning: We are aware of an issue affecting GCP templates and MySQL 8. More information in our template github project.
