Facebook iD8 is coming to your City

Earlier this year at F8, we talked about our efforts to create opportunities for innovation and education through the work we are doing with our products and programs. We also talked about the value of building community and the role community plays in building sustainable ecosystems. And while 40 percent of our attendees at F8 are drawn from our worldwide communities, we realize how meaningful it is for us to engage in-person through local events.

Facebook iD8 is an opportunity for us to connect face-to-face with developers and share the latest technology and product updates as well as offer attendees an opportunity to share where they are in their journey. Topics range from AR/VR, Messenger, Social Commerce and more. Most importantly, Facebook iD8 is a two-way dialogue where we have a chance to hear about your experiences, learn about your challenges and roadblocks and, provide an opportunity for you to connect with other members of our shared community that may face similar challenges.

We just completed the first iD8 event in Singapore where we celebrated with members of our developer circles, heard the latest ideas from startups that innovate on our platforms and discussed perspectives with our partners on topics including AR/VR, Messenger, Social Commerce and more. Next, we’re headed to São Paulo, Berlin and finally New York.

We'll have hands-on demonstrations and discussions with Facebook product experts who can provide guidance and help unblock challenges in your development process. This is an invite-only event, so please be sure to submit your registration. Following the review process, you may receive a confirmation to attend. If you are unable to make it, we hope you are able to engage with your local Developer Circle where we focus on building a connected community to foster innovation.
