Get a System User Access Token
This guide takes you through the steps to get a System User access token for the News Indexing API.
Before You Start
You will need the following:
- A System User linked to your Facebook News Indexing app in the Business Manager.
Get a System User Access Token
Step 1. Get Your System User
In the Business Manager, go to Business Settings > System Users and select an existing system user or create a new one.
Step 2. Add Your App
Add your Facebook App as an asset to the System User. Go to Business Settings > System Users > Select the system user > Add Assets and add the App
Step 3. Generate a Token
Click Generate New Token and select your Facebook News Indexing app from the dropdown menu. Then, click Generate Token.
Step 4 Copy and Save Your Token
Copy the System User Access Token (SUAT) before closing the pop-up window. You will not be able to retrieve this token once the pop-up window is closed.
