DT FairBid (Open Beta)

This topic explains how to set up the DT Fairbid bidding mediation partner for Audience Network.

Before You Start

  • Audience Network SDK requirements: 6.2.1 or later (Android | iOS)
  • Supported formats: Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded video

How to Set Up Bidding

If you are new to Audience Network, follow these steps from DT Fairbid.

See DT Fairbid’s technical guidance on how to set up for DT Fairbid.

Audience Network’s bidding product is currently operated as an open beta program and there is no approval needed on the Meta Audience Network side.

Setting up bidding placements through Monetization Manager

  • Rewarded video, interstitial and banner placements cannot be mixed. They should be configured as separate placements (waterfall or bidding).
  • If rewarded video is not available in Monetization Manager, you must obtain rewarded video approval for this directly from the Meta Audience Network team.
  • We recommend moving the top revenue placement ID when moving from waterfall to bidding.
  • If you’re wanting to test bidding against waterfall, we recommend running an A/B test between waterfall and bidding, rather than a pre/post test, in order to understand the true value of the solution. A/B tests are best for publishers who want to see a certain percentage of revenue uplift before they make the decision to fully transition to bidding. Since outside variables are less likely to influence the outcome, A/B tests make it easier to learn the amount of revenue attributable to bidding and the overall ARPDAU uplift driven by the different bidders. Follow DT Fairbid’s guidance on running an A/B test.
