Use this guide if your App Review submission was rejected for problems with any Messenger-related permissions or features you may have requested.
During App Review a reviewer will follow any instructions you have included and message your Page to initiate a conversation with your Messenger bot. If there are any problems during the conversation, you will be rejected for the "Broken Experience" reason.
Please verify that your Messenger bot behaves exactly as depicted and described in your screen recording and test steps. Keep in mind that your bot is subject to the standard messaging policy.
Additionally, please ensure that your messenger bot is compliant with our Facebook Platform Policy and Community Standards.
During App Review, a submission reviewer will follow any instructions you have included and message your Page to initiate a conversation with your Messenger bot. If you have been rejected because your bot did not respond after a conversation was initiated, please ensure that your bot responds to users within 30 seconds.
Also, please verify if your submission indicates that your bot includes automated responses. If you have indicated that your bot provides automated responses but does not respond when a reviewer attempts to test your bot, your submission will be rejected.
During App Review, reviewers will evaluate the use case(s) and submission details you’ve included to determine if they are valid and allowed. These use cases are listed in our permissions and features references. Based on your submission details, the reviewer was unable to determine the intended use of the permission or feature.
