Lead Ads Retrieval API and Permissions

You can use CRM systems to maintain the contact information and customer history of people who interact with your business. The Lead Retrieval API can be used to integrate into the CRM system so that when people fill out Lead Forms in your Facebook ads, your lead information automatically is de-duplicated and then entered into the CRM database. Previously, you could access the Lead Retrieval API with only the manage_pages permission.

As of July 2, 2018 we are introducing the leads_retrieval permission. In order to keep access to the Lead Retrieval API, you must request leads_retrieval permission and manage_pages permission and submit your app to App Review, Business Verification and our Contract Signature process before February 1, 2019.
