Polished social posts
A Paris-based app developed by Archery Inc., mojo helps people create eye-catching social content that can be shared to any platform. Since 2018, mojo – which operates on a freemium model – has achieved 25 million app installs and its users have created 250 million posts across platforms. The app is free to all users, but it also offers premium features that people can pay to use.
Resonating with high-value app users
The mojo team hoped to boost user engagement and retention while also increasing the number of people paying for premium features.
More sharing options
To woo new content creators and offer more options to existing mojo users, the team integrated Sharing to Facebook Stories as a new feature. With the new offering, mojo users could seamlessly share content they created on the mojo app directly to their Facebook Story.
The in-house developers used the documentation provided by Meta for Business to implement the feature into its app, and were ready to launch after a three-day integration process.
Higher rates of engagement
Since launching Sharing to Facebook Stories in October 2021, mojo has successfully acquired new users and seen an increase in people who use premium features. It has earned the following results*:
- 30% higher retention rate of people who share to Facebook Stories compared to people who share to other platforms
- 2X more likely to become paying users by Day 7 if users have shared to Facebook Stories compared to users who have shared to other platforms
- 10% month-on-month growth in Sharing to Facebook Stories (between October 2021 and November 2021)
“Facebook Stories is one of the top destinations for our users. By integrating Facebook Stories into mojo, we’ve made the sharing experience completely seamless, which has doubled our users’ conversion rate from creation to sharing, as well as their willingness to subscribe to our paid plan.”
