WhatsApp Business Accounts

WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs) allow you to manage your business through the WhatsApp Business Platform to communicate directly with your customers.

Some API calls require you to know your WABA ID. You have 3 ways of getting it:

1. Business Manager: Open the Business Manager, select your business, go to Settings and find your WhatsApp Business Account. When you click on the account, you see "owned by" and "id". Save that ID number.
2. During Embedded Signup Onboarding: See Get Shared WABA ID with accessToken for information.
3. Getting all WABAs shared with your business: See Get List of Shared WABAs for information.

WABA Subscriptions

To get Webhook events for a specific WABA, you need to explicitly subscribe to that WABA. You only need to subscribe to a WABA once and you will receive all Webhook events for phone numbers under that WABA. You don’t need to subscribe for every phone number.
