Onboarding

Who can apply for access and what are the onboarding requirements?

Terms and Agreements

What happens if I change institutions and/or no longer work on the project?

Per privacy compliance requirements, if you no longer work on the project or no longer need access, we must offboard you. Please let us know of the change by emailing metaresearchapplications@meta.com so we can start the process.

  • If you have changed institutions, we require that you re-sign our research agreement under your new affiliation. We can then transition access over to your new institutional email.

  • If you no longer work on the project at any institution, we will simply offboard you.

We have instituted annual requests for contact verification in order to keep our records current with regard to email addresses. If we receive a bounce-back from your email, we will attempt to confirm that you are still actively on the research project by reaching out to the project's principal investigator of record. If we are unsuccessful finding an updated email address for you, we will assume you are no longer on the project and proceed with offboarding.

How do I know if the facts and figures that I want to publish in my research are permissible?

Send your pre-publications to research-publications@meta.com with any questions.

Support

Who can I reach out to regarding issues?

For support questions, we use a tool called Direct Support to quickly triage your questions, routing each one to the most appropriate expert. See Use the Direct Support Tool to Get Help for complete information and instructions.
