Support for Conversions API Gateway on AWS EC2 is ending on July 31, 2025. To avoid data and performance disruptions, migrate your accounts and data to an AWS App Runner cloud environment, starting at a base cost of $30.
Use the steps below to migrate your setup to a new cloud environment using the AWS App Runner cloud option.
In order to migrate your infrastructure from EC2, you’ll need to first deploy a new stack supported by App Runner in your AWS account. Use the link below for your region to deploy using CloudFormation:
Once your new instance is successfully deployed, you will be able to log in to a newly created Conversions API Gateway and will see a prompt asking you to start the migration. Click the Migrate button to begin.
If you don’t see the prompt upon login, navigate to Settings > Migrations and backups in the left-hand menu.
Click on Start migration.
This will open the first step in the migration process. Enter the URL, username and password for the EC2 instance you wish to migrate (the origin account) and click Continue.
Your migration will automatically start in the background and you can leave the screen.
Go to the Settings > Migrations and backups page to track the migration status.
Once your migration is completed, ensure that you have set up a custom domain for data routing. You can then delete the previous EC2 setup.
