Integrating with Android TV and Fire TV
Android TV and Amazon's Fire TV both run on Android and as such allow you to use many of the existing features of the Facebook SDK for Android without modification. However, some features may not work the same as on normal android devices for more information, see Known Issues. In addition we provide TV specific functionality described below.
Known Issues
Facebook and Messenger Native App Integrations
Facebook doesn't have a native Facebook or Messenger app on Android TV or Fire TV. Therefore, you can't use functionality that requires native apps to be installed on the device.
Web Dialogs (Android TV)
Currently some web dialogs may not function correctly on Android TV. Problems may include people not being able interact with the inputs of the dialog.
Fire TV, for the most part, works as expected.
