What is difference between wa_id we receive in payload for message event and sender's actual mobile number? I am confused like whether I can use wa_id to send messages to user or I have to use user's phone number?

I'm trying to test the OC clothing sample from facebook, but getting error saying personas is not iterable. Sometimes it does iterate, but all the personas turn out undefined. Am I missing something from the sample?
