Does facebook need to create a separate app with ios store and a separate one under google play?

For example, I see that there is android sdk and ios sdk. But at the same time in the application that I created I configured ios sdk - and in the settings of the application, there is an option to connect google play store.

Is this solution correct? Or is it right to create another app, but for google play with android sdk?

What does it affect? Will it affect advertising?
