Hello Meta Support Team,

I am currently in the process of submitting my app for review with the WhatsApp Business API. While I am able to successfully send messages using the Cloud API after registering my number and subscribing to the app, I am encountering an issue with receiving messages.

Here are the details of the issue:

Outgoing Messages: After setting up my account and configuring the WhatsApp Cloud API, I can send messages from my registered number without any issues.

Receiving Messages: The webhook I’ve set up does not receive any incoming messages. I have tested the webhook independently, and it is working fine, so the problem appears to be related to the integration between the webhook and WhatsApp.

Webhook Configuration:

The webhook endpoint has been tested and verified to work when triggered manually. The webhook is correctly subscribed to message notifications. Debugging Steps Taken:

I’ve double-checked the webhook URL and ensured it is accessible and returning a 200 status code. I’ve confirmed that the webhook is subscribed to all necessary message events (e.g., messages, messages_status, etc.). I’ve verified that my app and webhook are correctly set up to handle incoming message events according to WhatsApp’s API documentation. Despite all of this, no incoming messages are being received by the webhook. I am looking for assistance in diagnosing this issue so I can move forward with the review process.

Could you please help me troubleshoot why my webhook is not receiving incoming messages from WhatsApp?

I believe the issue you are having is that the app is in development mode.
