Why my URL parameters sometimes shows UTM and others Fbclid for the same ad?
1

Hello everybody! I have a Leads to Website form campaign set up where conversion event is triggered by clicking “Submit Now” form button on landing page.

Every time we get a web form submission we set up the back end to send an email with user answers plus the source of the click.

For the same campaign, with one ad set and 5 ads, where all ads are set up identically, sometimes we get

Fbclid parameter ”Sent from: https://mariansmana.com.au/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2_sUcI1Yu4S27XBelqk4l2IjHrnA9bKsOp3y4s4TxfuklXonmE0QSzqZA_aem_AWdJJsNTfWoB4LU106Bxp_0ME89frsyHAtx0ob5BIq9so0KNFtFgcdkLtgjo_qzo-5vJGppL0duZvuhMP7q-v24A“

And other times we get UTM parameters “Sent From: https://mariansmana.com.au/?fbclid=IwAR2LxeFZYGCx6T1xdOr57qC9thX16XgomDyNjq18bk4b-CKUDS7DLtcBmVw_aem_AbBLZV40N0GiLlMumF7-Cp36rdeIRbCshwmBkHUvya4UjGulR5BzMWzGODrAtuHbAbEAaAftcW0DZ4f7Tuol5J_R&utm_medium=paid&utm_source=fb&utm_id=120208390945840269&utm_content=120208391834480269&utm_term=120208390945920269&utm_campaign=120208390945840269“

I have not manually set up URL parameters in the Ads level in any of the ads. So Meta is doing this automatically.

I need to know why this difference? If only Fbclid appears means further data collection was blocked? ,

If not, is it a tracking set up thing? And what did I do when setting up the Events/Conversion API that made Meta send one or the other?

Thank you in advance!!!
