We were evaluating the WhatsApp Cloud API to validate our use cases. We encountered two issues as follows:

  1. The business owner ("XYZ" Private Limited) created an App (TestApp) on the portal https://developers.facebook.com/apps, and gave developer permissions for TestApp to my user. Now when I log in with my user, I can see the TestApp present, but when I am trying to access the WhatsApp section of the app, I get the following message. You need access to the business "XYZ" Private Limited to be able to view this page. We tried giving admin permission to the user on the app (TestApp), but still the same error message. Although when I create a new app (LocalApp) from my user it asks me to attach or create a meta business account for the same, if I create a meta business account, and attach it to my app (LocalApp), I can access the WhatsApp section for it. Can you help us understand what's being missed out here? Attached is screenshot (1) of the error message for your reference.

  2. I tried creating a simple template in the portal https://business.facebook.com/wa/manage/message-templates for the app my user can access i.e., (LocalApp), it's getting created without error but it's being rejected the next minute after review. Can you please help me understand what standards it's not following? Attaching the screenshot of the template along with the error message for rejection shown for it.
