I'm experiencing difficulties with Facebook Login integration for my Android app, which is currently in closed testing on Google Play Store. Here's my situation:
App Status: Closed testing on Google Play (not published to production) Facebook App: Created in developers.facebook.com Test Mode: I've set up a test mode for the Facebook app Error: Users see "App not active: This app is not currently accessible and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated."
Despite setting up test mode and ensuring the app is properly configured in the Facebook Developers Console, I'm still encountering this error. Users are unable to log in using Facebook. Questions:
Can Facebook Login work with an app that's in closed testing, or does it require the app to be in open testing or fully published? Are there specific settings in the Facebook Developers Console I need to adjust for an app in closed testing? How can I properly set up and test Facebook Login while my app is still in the closed testing phase? Are there known limitations or extra steps required for Facebook Login when an app isn't yet publicly available on the Play Store? What troubleshooting steps would you recommend for resolving the "App not active" error in this scenario?
I'd greatly appreciate any insights, especially from developers who have successfully implemented Facebook Login with apps in closed testing. Thank you!
I have the same problem as you, does anyone know how to solve it? By the way, Facebook has been revised too many times, and I can't find any useful suggestions on the Internet
