Query on advanced flow layouts that are shown in flow best practices
2

I am looking for features that are shown in some of the examples given in flow best practices documentation in below link. https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/flows/guides/bestpractices

The screen shown in attached image is something I am looking for, however in flow documentation, there are no such features mentioned as far as I can see. Your cart is the features I am referring to. Is there anyway to use those in current version of flow or are these example based on any future releases? Would be great to have an answer for this.

Hello Girish, Can you provide a specific reference to the screenshot in the best practices documentation that you are referring to? All of the flows shown on that page are possible in the current public version of Flows.

Hi Mayur, you can see the image given under "Login Screens" section. I also have attached an image on this my post above, in case if you missed that.

Mayur - I work with Girish and I am posting more details here. I am trying to recreate Cart using flows as default Cart is not much useful to me.

So we are looking for

  1. Add item/increment/decrement counter
  2. Multi Column layout option
  3. Cross button to remove the whole item from shopping cart.

Thanks for raising this - you are right in that some of the experiences displayed in the screenshots (specifically the Product list view, and the Cart view) are not currently possible to replicate with WhatsApp Flows. Apologies for the confusion.

Thanks Bar for the response.

I represent OrderOnBot business and have developed platform for hospitality industry. This has been used by few restaurants already.

  1. We are unable to use the default cart as this is creating multiple cart and confusing to the customers.

  2. We can't use default catalog as well as restaurant's menus are quite complex which displays deals/combo etc.

We had already developed this using flows just needs few components like category listing and Add/increment/decrement counter and cross button to delete the row.

I can see Meta has already developed this and provided this to few business as well, could be chargeable? Is there anyway to engage Meta team about this?

Any direction would be really appreciated.

Thanks Kripa

Hi guys, just raising interest from our end, too, for the same reason. We have a complex order flow and would like to have a plus/minus button, too.

As a more generic solution, a two column layout where each column has a plus or minus button would work, too. Therefore we would need a dynamic state update via "on-select-action" which allows increasing/decreasing a text input's number by 1.
