There are two different pixels showing on our website and we deleted one on facebook so it's showing there's only one pixel, but it's still showing 2 pixels on the website - resulting in showing double sales on meta ads. Could you please help?

👋 Hello MH, First of all you say what's your CMS like WordPress, Shopify or Others? How to setup Facebook Pixel using Google Tag Manager or APP - Plugin? If you’re seeing duplicate pixel activity after removing a pixel from Facebook, it means the pixel code is likely still embedded ( add App or Plugin ) in your website’s code or in your Google Tag Manager container.

  • Verify Pixel Installation Using Facebook Pixel Helper and send a screenshot -- Install the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension and visit your website. This tool shows all pixels firing on your site. -- Note down the Pixel IDs shown to identify the active and duplicate pixel.

  • Check Google Tag Manager for Duplicate Pixels -- Go to Tags and search for any tags with "Facebook Pixel" in the name. If you find more than one, check each tag’s Pixel ID. -- Delete or disable the tag with the duplicate Pixel ID and save your changes.
