I am unable to complete the yearly data use checkup due to a problem that I have seen others have on the forums here as well: https://developers.facebook.com/community/threads/428434626500749/
The first step of the Data Use Checkup is to start the verification of the business & app. When I click on Start Verification, I get redirected to my business page which says I'm ineligible for verification
"Your organisation does not need to be verified. To learn more about business verification eligibility, visit the Help Centre."
Because of this I'm unable to get any further in the verification process and unable to use the Graph API.
It's been almost a month now with no reply, I guess my app is just stuck in this weird limbo for the foreseeable future without a solution in sight.
The whole process of actually getting support from Facebook is a painful experience, to say the least.
Posting again for visibility, because I have literally no other way to resolve this problem.
Would it help to post multiple answers so that this post gets more visibility? Let's find out!
I really hope the "Trending" category in this forum looks at total answers given on a post.

Is there any way to get a real human to take a look at this? In addition to being unable to complete the Data Use Checkup, there's another required action that I'm unable to complete because of this verification issue.
"We recently notified you about a required action to connect your app to a Meta Business Account. We determined that you did not complete this action by the due date. This violates Platform Term 7.e.i.1."
Starting the verification process for this required action gives me the exact same issue: "Your organisation does not need to be verified. To learn more about business verification eligibility, visit the Help Centre."
