Programmatically Create WABAs
1

Hi,

My current implementation has an Embedded Signup flow setup. I'm now also looking at providing flows for the "On Behalf Of" model (OBO).

Is there a programmatic way to create OBO (or regular) WABAs using http requests? I am currently doing it via the meta UI manually.

This page here does not have details on it: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/business-manager/guides/on-behalf-of/

or a mention of it here: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/524220081677109?id=2129163877102343

Please help

The goal is to avoid the embedded signup? did you try to create the embedded signup to OBO business?

Yes, the idea is to avoid the ES flow.

Sample Usecase: I am BSP X, I have client Y, and this client has a client Z.

Z wants a WABA created but does not have any access to X's Embedded Signup Flow, ie Z and X have no direct relationship.

OBO model here will help creating a WABA for Z but the WABA will be owned by X and billed to Y.

Creating/Exposing my Embedded Signup here would defeat the purpose of OBO model, as either Z has to onboard to X's system or Y has to share details for X's system.
