I'm wanting to configure some ads through Ads Manager and the allocated pixel ID it shows is: 2124812794570097. However in Shopify it's displaying another pixel ID (see screen image which is 3435679926723604) and it doesn't allow me to choose the one assigned to me on Ads Manager so I can't link these up and run my ads at the moment. I was told by the agent that this is an issue which would need to be looked into by meta developers.
Hello Jeff, I understand your problem. This 3435679926723604 pixel id is added to your Shopify website. Adding this pixel id to your ads account will solve your problem.
Add the Pixel to Your Ads Account - Once you have your Pixel ID, you need to add it to your ad account. - Go to the “Business Settings” in Facebook Business Manager. - Under the “Data Sources” section, select “Pixels”. - Find your Pixel and click on it. - Click on the “Add Assets” button and select the ad account you want to associate with this Pixel. - Click “Add” to confirm.
