Pixels Issues
1

Hello, For more than 3 weeks now and the issue is not resolved. Your support team called me several times and tried to resolve the Pixel's issues that am facing without any real solutions. Here is the situation: Pixels are providing wrong data. Several cases have been open for this, and the last one was 812660387515835. Your excellent customer support have contacted me and we spent more than 1.5 hours trying to resolve this situation after he saw that the data was incorrect and he passed the issue to technical team and they came back with zero help. We tried to make a new pixel and connect it to my shopify account, yet the old pixel kept operating. and when I try to do the conversion API's, click on confirm setup, it stays on the same page. its not working. Now i removed the new pixel, and went back to use the old pixel. same issue with conversion API's. I need someone technical who can contact me to resolve this matter as it is negatively impacting my campaigns on meta. The ROI's after spending hundreds of dollars on campaigns is literary ZERO. and don't tell me the issues in the campaigns setup because its not. the issue is the fact that your algorithms are not working properly and sending the ads to the wrong audience because of the Pixels. Your prompt response to this matter is highly appreciated. Thank you

👋 Hello Fadi, As you may know Facebook has updated many things. Due to which we can't send our customer data properly to the Facebook Event Manager and Ads Campaign. For this Facebook suggests us to setup Conversion API. But I think you setup Facebook Pixel and Conversion EPI using Meta & Instagram app. As you might not know, the Meta & Instagram app is not working properly since the Facebook update. Because of which Facebook suggests us to setup Pixel and Conversion API on Facebook using Google Tech Manager.

Facebook Conversion API Tracking 👉 https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/guides/gtm-server-side/

As you may know, there are lots of ways to setup Facebook Pixel and Conversion API Tracking on the Shopify website 1. Manually code 2. Partner Integration 3. Facebook & Instagram App 4. Google Tag Manager

The most popular event-tracking tool here is Google Tag Manager. If you want to send accurate data to your advertising platform or analytics platform, collect remarketing audiences and create lookalikes. Also If you want to optimize your ad then Google Tag Manager is the best. By addressing the technical issues with pixel and conversion API setup and implementing best practices for campaign optimization, you should be able to improve your ROI and ROAS over time.

Here have my previous setup and this setup pretty good 👉 https://dev-freelancer-nurumiah016.pantheonsite.io/facebook-pixel-conversion-api-tracking

if you setup through Google Tag Manager then your data mismatch will reduce by 80%. Currently you are getting 10% data. But if you set up the Facebook Pixel and Conversion API using Hundred Percent or the right method, you can send 80 to 100% of the data to your Facebook Event Manager and Facebook ads campaigns. And if you can't send accurate data to your event manager or ads campaign, you won't be able to do retargeting marketing that will have a big effect on your business and a big effect on product sales.

Did you setup Facebook Pixel using Facebook & Instagram apps?

Hello, Thank you for your reply. I setup Pixels through facebook ads manager and business suite. I am not using google tag manager at all with Meta platforms. It is a direct connection with Shopify.

I would suggest you to setup using Google Tag Manager for Facebook pixel and Conversion API Tracking. Otherwise you can not customize pixel event and can not send 80 to 100% of the data to your Facebook Event Manager and Facebook ads camping.

Follow this stap: Facebook pixel Requerment 👉 https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1021909254506499

Facebook Conversion API Tracking 👉 https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/conversions-api/guides/gtm-server-side/

If you set up the Facebook Pixel and Conversion API using 100% accurate or perfectly. Then you should be able to improve your ROI and ROAS over time.

Have you setup four pixels on a website?

It is best to use a Facebook Pixel ID on a website. You can use multiple Facebook Pixels on one website. But Facebook's requirement is always to setup a pixel on a website.
