I am having problem receiving verification code for my WhatsApp Business Account "Dr Belaku" on my fixed line (landline number) [...], provided by Airtel. Email ID is [...]

The screen of my old mobile device, Samsung J7 Prime developed cracks. So, On 10 May 2024, I bought Samsung F54 handset and managed to transfer the WhatsApp Business account from old phone to new phone. However, the backup recovery did not happen. So, I deleted the WhatsApp Business app from the new phone and tried re-register. Since then, I am not receiving verification code.

Every time I initiate the verification process, I receive the error; "We couldn't call your number. Please check your number and try again in 1 hour."

I have written 100's email to WhatsApp Business Support Team. I have provided the proof of the landline ownership through Landline monthly bills. I have shared the screenshot of Google drive where the backup for my WhatsApp Business account is stored.

I have followed their instructions on the WhatsApp Business website and also those provided via emails. I have waited for 1 hour, 24 hours, 72 hours, restarted the phone, cleared the cache memory, uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp Business App, changed landline devices, ensured that there is no parallel ringing or call forwarding, ensured that caller ID is active. I also got Airtel technician to check the installation. They clarified that there is no problem with the physical connection. In spite of all these, I am still not able to receive the verification code via Voice Call.

Between 10 May 2024 to 21 June 2024, I have contacted WhatsApp Business Support Team, TRAI, WhatsApp Grievance Office, Airtel Nodal Officer, Airtel Appellate Officer. But no one has been able to solve the issue.

I do not know what more to do.

I have set up appointment process for my patients in WhatsApp Business app. But now my patients are unable to book the appointments easily.

I sincerely request you to help me receive the verification code via "Call Me" option.
