Application Testing Issue - Facebook Login Error and Advanced Access Validation
1

Hi,

I am writing to address an issue encountered during META team testing of my newly launched Business application.

Application Details: - The application is currently in Live mode. - To ensure optimal functionality, I requested advanced access to certain permissions following your guidelines. This included a detailed explanation of the steps involved and the need for these permissions.

Testing Issue: During testing, the META team encountered an error message "It appears this app is not available" when attempting to log in with Facebook. This stems from the team's lack of administrator access within the application.

Additional Information: - The issue specifically lies with external user authentication through Facebook login due to the application's permission structure. - While I attempted to provide a test Facebook account, I was met with a message stating "The ability to create test users is disabled temporarily."

Impact and Request: This situation prevents the META team from properly testing the application and validating my advanced access request, in which case only accounts with a role in the meta application can use it.

To facilitate a smooth resolution, I would appreciate your guidance on the following: - Alternative Testing Methods: Are there alternative methods for the META team to access the application for testing purposes? This could include temporary elevated access without requiring a Facebook login with an existing role. - Test User Creation: Could you provide an estimated timeframe for when the ability to create test users will be re-enabled? With this functionality restored, I can create a dedicated account specifically for your team's testing needs.

I am eager to collaborate further and resolve this efficiently. Please do not hesitate to request any additional information or clarification from my end.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,

Kevin
