Expired Permanent Access Token and WhatsApp Manager not providing answers
1

I have created a permanent Meta Authorization Token for the WhatsApp Business Platform via https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2022/12/05/auth-tokens/

The permanent token has worked for a while, but is now responding with the following 401:

401 {'error': {'message': 'Error validating access token: Session has expired on Wednesday, 11-Sep-24 14:00:00 PDT. The current time is Friday, 20-Sep-24 06:24:12 PDT.', 'type': 'OAuthException', 'code': 190, 'error_subcode': 463, 'fbtrace_id': 'XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'}}

I can read what the problem is; the session has expired on september 11th. Trying to find a solution, the App Dashboard API Setup gives the following message: "You have alerts that need review. Go to WhatsApp Manager". Unfortunately, this WhatsApp Manager does not provide next steps or further explanation.

The code (a Python based Flask-application) seems absolutely fine. Previously, using limited time authentication tokens worked perfectly. I have searched on the Meta developers page for hours but nowhere an answer is to be found. Trying to create a new non-permanent Token leads you back to the permanent Token, so that option makes you go around in circles.

Please help.
