I have gone back and forth with the app "reviewer". Our app is an old game, based off the old Facebook Canvas (e.g. Facebook Web Games). Refresher: we configure a callback URL and unique namespace - facebook provides an iframe (from apps.facebook.com/) with a signed_request to our callback url.

The reviewer has constantly repeated that our game does not work. They claim we need to "update our Canvas URL" and that the link to our callback URL doesn't work.

I've explained multiple times in multiple ways and added screenshots and screencasts - but the reviewer refuses to "get" that the app is working as originally configured.

I understand that no one can create a Facebook Web Game anymore and that Facebook is likely to shut them down at any time. But it's driving me crazy that the reviewer won't pass our app simply because they don't actually get how it works.

I've asked for any specifics of what I can do to help figure out the issue. But I keep getting the same (very generic, supremely unhelpful) responses. Maybe I'm missing something, but I've asked and said as much - but still nothing.

How do I get out of this 9th ring of app review hell??
